Brenda Malley
Brenda Malley's career as a professional artist spans over 25 years while living in the USA, France, and now at home in Ireland. Brenda's seascape paintings are characterised by the energy and fluidity of her palette knife work, and by the surface richness of colour and texture with which she expresses her subject. Through time spent immersed in the raw, remote environment of the Irish Atlantic seaboard, the artist brings to life in her paintings the movement, energy and flow of the natural elements.
Brenda's debut solo exhibition "Seasons of the Sea" was held at the Leinster Gallery in 2008. She was the recipient of a Culture Ireland award in 2010 for a solo exhibition in Boston, USA.
