Fiona Smith
Fiona Smith-Darragh was born in Bedfordshire, and brought up in Worcestershire, England. From an early age her great loves were wildlife and horses.
As a teenager in 1970’s her family moved to Ireland, where her first job was as a Graphic Designer in Dublin. Between 1994 and 1997 Fiona undertook a practical Bronze Casting course in the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. Fiona has been exhibiting regularly since then.
Her inspiration comes from early naturalist illustrators such as Audubon and Bartram.
Fiona Smith-Darragh lives and works from her studio in County Meath.
