Kelly Hood grew up in the Dingle Peninsula wandering through fields and crossing streams on her grandmothers farm. Dingle has remained a huge influence in her paintings with a love of animals and the countryside. These are subjects she returns to again and again in her work , and she believes every animal has a different personality, and her passion is to capture this in her paintings
